With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Debbie L. Grimes (Centralia, Illinois), who passed away on January 10, 2026 at the age of 67. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dale Lee Irby and Mary Irby (Arenilla); her brother Joseph Irby; and her sisters-in-law, Lisa Grimes and Karen Irby.
She is survived by: her husband Rorie Grimes of Centralia; her children, Tammy Ritter (Jeff) of Kinmundy, Bill Smith (Heather) of Odin and Jon Smith of Centralia; her daughter-in-law Teresa Smith of Centralia; her grandchildren, Cody Gould, Mary Branch, Hania Smith, Mason Smith, Riley Smith, Eva Smith and Matt Ritter; and her brother-in-law Doug Grimes of Centralia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Debbie's name to the Marion County Animal Control.
