The memory of Dolores M. Dickenson of Centralia, Illinois, born in Aurora, Illinois, who passed away on September 18, 2025 at the age of 92, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Snyder and Lorna E. Snyder; her husband George H. Dickenson; her siblings, Myrna Baker, Mary Berger, Beverly Snyder, Donald Baumez, Herman Baumez, Jr. and Kenneth Snyder; and her great grandchild Ian Jacob Bird.
She is survived by: her children, David Dickenson (Bonnie) of Centralia, IL, Ruth Bird (Terry) of Rockford and Mary Miller (Joseph) of Aurora. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many dear friends.
Interment will follow at West Batavia Cemetery in Batavia, IL, Contributions in her memory may be made to Shriner's Children's Hospital (https://donate.shrinerschildrens.org) or to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
