He was predeceased by: his parents, Freddie William Harpool and Delores Elaine Harpool (Ridge); his wife Dee; and his siblings, Denny Telfer and Stephanie Harpool.
He is survived by: his children, William Joseph Harpool (Jennifer) of Centralia, IL, Philip Wayne Harpool of Ina, IL, Johnny Lee Harpool of Decatur, IL, Sonya Kay Nagy (Raymond) of Centralia, IL and Tonya Sue Marsh (Matthew) of Centralia, IL; and his siblings, Mike Telfer of Decatur, IL and Sandy Bean of Decatur, IL.. He is also survived by six stepchildren; twenty plus grandchildren; ten plus great-grandchildren.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Shelbyville Dam.
