It is with sadness that the passing of Hunter Nichols of Centralia, Illinois is shared. Hunter, born on July 9, 2008, passed away on September 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Dianne Nichols Hendricks, Larry Nichols, Mary Ann and Lewell Wilkinson. He is survived by: his parents, Jesse Nichols of Centralia and Amy Nichols (Backs); his siblings, Brody Nichols, Reed Nichols of Centralia and Mackenzie Nichols of Wentzville, Missouri; and his aunts and uncles, Sherry (Mike Owens), Penny (Mark Brooks), Laura (Johnny Pokojski), John Brown and Jess Stover of Salem. He is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home (235 N Sycamore St, Centralia, IL 62801).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Family to Honor Hunter with Memorial Bird Bands and/or the Jared Burke Foundation will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home located at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to Hunter's Family.
