He was predeceased by: his parents, James Morgan Baxter and Florence Ann Baxter (Albright); and his wife Charlotte Baxter (Dudley). He is survived by: his children, Mary Arnold of Centralia, Kevin Baxter (Shari Hongsermeier-Baxter) of Festus and Sean Baxter (Bridget) of Colorado Springs, Colorado.; and his grandchildren, Mimi Hongsermeier-Baxter (Jarod Mercer), Elijah Hongsermeier-Baxter, Rain Khakimov (Batyr), Arielle Arnold (Aaron Reeves) and Mallory Arnold.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Church of Christ in Centralia and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home located at 235 North Sycamore Street Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to Jim's Family.
