He was predeceased by: his parents, James T. Butler and Barbara Thurman (Potts); and his siblings, Jesse Butler and Cindy Maxfield. He is survived by: his wife Jan Butler; his grandchildren, Katelyn, Nathan, Aubrey, Alyssa, Gavin, Jacie, Kaiden, Kendree, Brayden, Jenna and Breanna; his sisters, Nancy Hill of Hoffman and Lisa Knapp of Beckemeyer; and his sister-in-law Ann Toedte (Gary) of Centralia.
