“Joe was a man of true faith, and I am proud to have served with him in Iraq. We lost another good American, brother in arms, friend, and husband. Joe worked with the Iraqi Highway Patrol while in Iraq, which was a very dangerous position in the Baghdad Region, but he always had our Father God with him. Words alone are not enough to tell Joe's story. We extend our heartfelt sympathy, and I want you to know that Shama and I are with you, Lucy, in this difficult moment of grief. God bless you.”
