Joyce Seger Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 5, 2025, at the age of 92, Joyce Seger of Centralia, Illinois passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Odom and Ruth Odom (Baker); her husband Leo F. Seger; her sons, Randy and Michael Seger; her siblings, Doris Fields and Gerald Odom; and her siblings-in-law, Louis Sonny Seger, Laverne Seger, Mildred, Lorraine, Shirley and Dolly Seger.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Seger of Centralia, Jon Seger (Judy) of Centralia, Joseph Seger (Jacqueline) of Highland and Mary Connaway (Chris) of Centralia; her grandchildren, Jason Seger (Tarah), Brittany Corners (Blake), Annalise Seger (Benjamin Huels), Alex Seger, Adam Seger, Lucas Connaway and Nicholas Connaway; her great grandchildren, Garet Seger, Jake Seger, Ian Connaway, Kennedy Connaway and Ava Grace Elliott; her sisters, Dorothy Puckett and Brenda Felty (George); and her sister-in-law Elsie Seger of Carlyle.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Catholic Church or to the School and will be accepted by the Sutherland-Garnier funeral Home, 235 N. Sycamore Street, Centralia, IL 62801, who is honored to be assisting the Seger family.
