Judy left this world on October 5, 2025 at the age of 83, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, George S. White and Dorothy White (Garland); her husband Robert L. Sassorossi; her daughter Kari Sassorossi; and her siblings, Linda Donoho, Lana Wernsman, Ruby Peleaz, Kenny White, Mark White, Bobby White and Doug White.
She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Sassorossi of Centralia and Robert J. Sassorossi of Springfield; her grandchildren, Anthony Jackson of Palm Harbor, Theresa Jackson of Palm Harbor, Kloie Johnson (Walker) of Centralia and Kyle Biagi of Centralia; her great grandchildren, Axell Sass, Waylen Haze of Centralia, Jace Anthony and Micah Jack of Palm Harbor, Florida; her siblings, George White (Rhonda Morris) of Centralia and Lisa Shoemaker (Jim) of Centralia; and her sister-in-law Cynthia White of Dix. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Central City Lions Club for the playground equipment and/or the Calumet Street Christian Church also for playground equipment and will be accepted by the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street in Centralia, IL 62801 (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to Judy's family.
