Karen leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Karen’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Karen will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall Roper and Claire Roper (Bond). She is survived by: her husband Thomas Sligar of Centralia; her children, Thomas Frederick Sligar of Centralia and Charady Cook (Don); and her siblings, Cary Shelton of Centralia, George Roper of Centralia, Debbie Milton (Ralph) of Carlyle and Becky Smith of Centralia. She is also survived by many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
