She was predeceased by : her father William A. Shumate; her brother Walter A. Shumate; her grandmother Beverly Wert; and her great-grandparents, Harold and Millicent Wert.
She is survived by : her mother Dana T. Wert of Centralia, IL; her siblings, John Shumate of Missouri, Sean O'Brien of Colorado, Katie O'Brien of Kentucky, Garbal Mifflin of Louisiana, Ayden Wert of Centralia, Loura Shumate of Florida and William Shumate of Illinois; her grandfather Lloyd Wert (Fran Garrison); and her uncles, Philip Wert and Todd Wert (Lynda).
