It is with sadness that the passing of Marcella Eilers of Centralia, Illinois is shared. Marcella, born on August 30, 1924, passed away on October 31, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry F. Tieman and Louise Tieman (Brink); her former husband Ervin "Andy" Anderson; her spouse W. "Bill" Eilers; and her sister Dolores Hake.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Nancy Bond (Mike) of Woodlawn, Carolyn Meyer (Kevin) of Hoyleton, Marilyn Guerrieri (Robert) of Plainfield, Ann Duncan (John) of Lenoir City, Donna Mefford (Olin) of Florence, Carol Cronister (Gary) of Athens, Alabama, Steven Anderson (Jill) of Loda, Carl Eilers (Brenda) of Kingsport and Kenneth Eilers (Maggie) of Canton, Georgia.. She is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as several great-great-nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (201 S Pleasant Ave, Centralia, IL 62801). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In memory of Sally, memorial donations may be made to Trinity Lutheran Church or the American Macular Degeneration Research Foundation and will be accepted by the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home at 235 North Sycamore Street in Centralia, IL 62801 (618) 532-3523, who is honored to be of service to Sally's family.
