We bid farewell to Mary Auxier of Centralia, Illinois, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 1, 2026 at the age of 89. Mary touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Marshall and Lillie Marie Wells (Trotter); her husband Donald Auxier; her brothers, Homer Wells (Juanita), Joe Wells (Mary) and Melvin Wells; and her close friend James Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey L. Auxier (Debbie) of Nashville, Lora Cozadd (Rick) of Centralia and Nancy Auxier of Centralia; her grandchildren, Adam Auxier (Allycia), Lauren Thompson (Dylan), Lee Cozadd (Brittany), Jon Cozadd (Loni) and Taylor Shedelbower; her great grandchildren, Cassel, Bergen, Lottie, Audrey, Sylas, Corbyn and Gretta; her sister Betty Kellum (Ron) of Alton; and her sister-in-law Janet Wells of Morton, IL. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Memorials may be made in Mary's honor to the Fireside House Activity Fund or the National Diabetes Association.
