He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Dermot Hill Sr. and Ruby Louise Goldman (Carroll); and his siblings, Jimmy Hill, Brenda Hill, Elizabeth Behringer and Missy Goldman.
He is survived by: his children, Melvin Hill of Centralia, Lisa Crouch (Alvin) of Vandalia, Carol Martinez (Joe) of Henderson, KY, Tina Ladner (Erik) of Vandalia and Michael Hill of Breese; his stepchildren, Scott Rhynes of Centralia, Billy Joe Doehring (Lyndsay) of Vandalia, Heath Ford (Mandi) of Carlyle, Andre Ford (Kalee) of Hoffman and Malissa Ford of Carlyle; and his siblings, Sandra Royer (Doyle McMeen) of Mt. Vernon and David Hill of Centralia. He is also survived by several grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
