In loving memory of Nickie Diane Redfern of Centralia, Illinois, born in East Saint Louis, Illinois, who departed this world on April 18, 2024 at the age of 68. She was predeceased by : her parents, Richard Hatfield and Betty Hatfield; and her siblings, Albert Marcum, Ethel Watts, Eileene Badgett, Ruth Paxton, Billie Stewart and Donna Wright.

She is survived by : her husband Charles "Chuck" Redfern; her children, Mark Redfern of Centralia, Heather Tremblay (Ronnie) of Belleville and Jill Malkalick; her grandchildren, Mark Redfern (Olivia), Alexis Lowe (Justin), Kayla Clark, Karah Clark and Logan Tremblay; her great grandchildren, Sebastian Eldridge, Ashtyn Lowe, Princton Redfern and Myles Redfern; and her sister Marge Hatfield of Granite City, Illinois. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hughey Funeral Home (1314 Main St, Mt Vernon, IL 62864). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorials may be made in Nickie's honor to Crossroads Church for the Centralia Annual Christmas Dinner.
