With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis Bryant (Centralia, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 10, 2025 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her father Henry Owens; her husband Malcom Gene Bryant; her mother LaVerne Flagg Myers (Flagg); her grandsons, Jose Bryant and Sterling Williams; her granddaughter-in-law Colleen McClain; her aunt Rosie Flagg; her sons-in-law, Bernard Jackson and Marvin McClain; and her sister-in-law Peggy Coleman (Linda Jones).
She is survived by: her children, Michael Gene Bryant of Florissant, MO, Marsha Jackson of Decatur, GA, Maurnice McClain of Centralia, Mark Bryant (Ann) of McDonough, GA, Molia Strickland (Gregory) of Centralia and Sterling Ardi Moore (Gentanna) of Centralia. She is also survived by her 31 grandchildren, 89 great-grandchildren, and several great-great-grandchildren.
