He was predeceased by: his parents, William Leroy and Mabel Lillian Vogel (Hensley); and his brother Ralph Vogel (Mamie Vogel). He is survived by: his wife Irlene Fortney; his daughter Lorraine Nottmeyer; his grandchildren, Tracey Nottmeyer and Danielle Nottmeyer; his stepson Owen Hawes (Connie (Reed)); his stepgrandson Rodney; Vivian Vogel.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First United Methodist Church of Centralia (102 S Hickory St, Centralia, IL 62801). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 29th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the same location.
