We announce the death of Sandra Wehking of Centralia, Illinois, who passed away on June 23, 2026, at the age of 72. Sandra will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her father Charles "Butch" Hammel. She is survived by: her mother Lucy Mae Hammel (Lanham) of Breese; her sons, Jeff Wehking (Vanessa) of Carlyle and Brett Wehking (Courtney) of Troy, Illinois.; her grandchildren, Lilly, Dean, Jonah, Mallory, Miles and Mason; and her siblings, Jeanette Reynolds (Gary) of Albers, Bob Hammel (Kim) of Carlyle, Gail Odaniell of Carbondale and Kim Holtmann (Dale) of Albers.
In lieu of flowers, stones, or other memorial items, the family requests that donations be made to the Sandy Wehking Scholarship Fund in Sandy's memory. Contributions may be made at the funeral home or in person at Midwestern National Bank in Aviston, Illinois.
