She was predeceased by: her parents, John Schoolcraft and Alice Schoolcraft (Beals); her granddaughter Celeste Hoffman; and her siblings, Jimmy, Ralph, David Schoolcraft, Barbara Pittman, Rosetta Pease and Linda Bryant.
She is survived by: her husband Glen Burkett of Centralia; her children, Camden Davis (Angie) of St. Paul, Texas, Myla Hite (Rick) of Eatonville, Washington, Greg Swickard (Michelle) of Palm Coast, Florida and Ron Burkett (Bee) of Nashville, Illinois.; her brothers, Danny Schoolcraft and Mitchell Schoolcraft; and her friends, John Schafter and Jenny Sisk. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Shelba's honor may be made to the First Christian Church and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home, located at 235 North Sycamore Street, Centralia, Illinois 62801.
