She was predeceased by: her parents, Gustav Sprehe and Lena Sprehe (Harre); her husband Melvin "Paul" Reuter; and her brothers, Marvin and Norman Sprehe.
She is survived by: her children, David Reuter (Barbi) of Tuscan, AZ, Connie Profancik (Marc) of Centralia and Sally Wier (Tim) of Sugarland, TX; her grandchildren, Justin Profancik (Renee) of St. Joseph, IL, Lindsey Gant (Brian) of Vacaville, CA, Nick Profancik (Katelyn) of St. Louis, MO, Wilson Reuter (Shannon) of Mission Viejo, CA, Katie Wier of Sugarland, TX, Amy Michaels (Joshua) of Houston, TX, Emily Wier of Houston, TX, Bennett Soriano of Houston, TX and Delaney Reuter of Tuscan, AZ; and her great grandchildren, Aubree, Keegan, Oliver, Maggie, Elliott, Hadley, Vera, August, Isaac, Judah, Noelle, Hunter and Hudson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (413 E Broadway, Centralia, IL 62801). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the First United Methodist Church of Centralia (413 E Broadway, Centralia, IL 62801).
Memorial donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church or the Friedens UCC Cemetery in Irvington and will be accepted at the Sutherland-Garnier Funeral Home, 235 North Sycamore Street, Centralia, Illinois 62801, (618) 532-3523, who are honored to be of service to Oley's family.
