William Schwartz Obituary

William Schwartz, born on May 30, 1938, passed away on August 22, 2026. William leaves behind family members and others who acknowledge this loss. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin John Schwartz and Madelon Delores Schwartz (Buchanan); his siblings, Mary Elizabeth Schwartz, Carolyn Shook, Linda Smith, Michael Schwartz, Stanley Schwartz and Charles "Red" Schwartz; and his siblings-in-law, Tony Shook, Janice Schwartz and Sally Schwartz.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Schwartz of Centralia; his children, Darin Schwartz (Tonya) of Walnut Hill and Lisa Besant (Jeff) of O'Fallon, Missouri.; his grandchildren, Bailee Tomlianovich (John) of Centralia, Blaike Lane (Kory) of South Carolina, Derek Besant (Brittany) of Wentzville and Nicholas Besant (Courtney) of Kansas City, Missouri.; and his siblings, Herb Schwartz (Suetta) of Mt. Vernon and Cindy Snyder (Mike) of Centralia. He is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests memorial donations be made to St. Mary Catholic Church and/or St. Mary Catholic School.
