The memory of Evelyn Eads of Cerro Gordo, Illinois, who passed away on April 13, 2025 at the age of 83, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Atteberry and Nellie Atteberry (Miller); her husband Ciney Eads; her son-in-law Terry Horn; her brother Raymond Atteberry; and her siblings-in-law, Galen Heckman, Dale Eads, Martha Reilly and Anita Atteberry.

She is survived by: her children, Brenda Dillow (Robert) of Manassa, VA, Luellen Eads of Cerro Gordo, Renee Horn of Marion and Aaron Eads (Carole) of Monticello; her grandchildren, Amanda Dillow, R. Cordell Dillow, Andrea Eads, Anneliesse Eastin (Quintinn), Braxton Abbott (Selena) and Makayla Abbott (Dylan); her siblings, Edythe Bork (Bernard) and Carl Atteberry (Linda); and her sisters-in-law, Carolyn Fansler (Dick) and Maralyn Heckman. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.

During COVID, Evelyn and her daughter Luellen made and donated over 2500 masks for people in the community.

Memorials in Evelyn's honor may be made to The Brethren Church of Cerro Gordo, OSF Children's Hospital in Peoria in honor of her great-grandson; or a charity of your choice.
