He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Howell and Nannie G. Williams (Grant); and his wife Audrey Louise Roy. He is survived by: his children, Debbie Hull of Cerro Gordo, IL, Rebecca Lucas (Steve) of Kansas City, MO, Brad Williams (Sally) of Lobelville, TN and Matthew Williams (Amy) of Springfield, IL. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Camp Butler National Cemetery (5063 Camp Butler Rd, Springfield, IL 62707).
