He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn M. "Doc" Hess and Maxine J. Hess (Wessels); and his brother Jeffery Scott Hess. He is survived by: his siblings, Janet Baumgardt (Rick) of Chadwick, IL, Greg Hess of Savanna, IL and Bruce Hess (Michele) of Byron, IL. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
