She was predeceased by: her parents, Mustafa Tomruk and Muhube Aksoy Tomruk; and her brothers, Muammer and Huseyin. She is survived by: her fiancé Ahmet Durukan; her son Ata; her daughter-in-law Amy of Champaign; her granddaughter Erin Ann Durukan of Dallas, TX.; and her brother Aydin Tomruk of Ankara. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
