With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Bernice Neidel (Champaign, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 26, 2025 at the age of 102. In the sacred silence of farewell, Bernice is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Bernice's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Norman Wilson and Fannie Edwards Wilson; her husband Ernest Neidel; and her son James Neidel. She is survived by: her daughters, Marilyn Wingert and Nancy Pruitt (Marty). She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and a large number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
