She was predeceased by: her husband Franklin Richard Shupp; and her brother Richard Edwards. She is survived by: her children, Diedre Matthews (Allan), Ruth Liu (Pyramyth) and Robert Shupp (Terri); her grandchildren, Jennifer Liu, Gwyneth Matthews, Katherine Liu, Clare Shupp and Emily Shupp; and her sister Elaine Frick (Stan).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grace Lutheran Church food pantry, the University of Illinois Chapter of the YWCA or the United Way of Champaign County.
