As Carol departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Carol may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Carol leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Emil Stensland and Martha Stensland (Berg); and her grandmother Carol. She is survived by: her husband Harold Moe; and her children, Kimberly Simpson of Savoy, Scott Moe (Cathy) of Champaign and Steven Moe (Jennifer) of Indianapolis. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church (2101 S Prospect Ave, Champaign, IL 61820). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
