It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Kennedy of Champaign, Illinois, born in New York, New York, who passed away on June 10, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Charles Kennedy Sr.; his wife Pamella; his children, Charles Kennedy Jr., Diane Pietri (Wilson), Stephen Kennedy, Athena Kennedy of Puerto Rico, Patrick Kennedy (Kristen) of Dieterich, Michael Kennedy of Gibson City, Kim Whiteleather (Paul) of Carol Stream and Sherry Hodges of Mahomet; his brother Bob Kennedy; his daughter Kathleen Kennedy; his granddaughter Veronica Kennedy; and his brother Eddie Kennedy. He was also cherished by 17 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
The family asks that donations be made to The Dementia Society of America, rather than sending flowers.
