It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Zola (Champaign, Illinois), born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 28, 2018, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Remo Zola and Elinor Zola; his spouse Susan Staats; his children, Sarah Zola Khazoum (Eli), Anne Zola and Luke Zola; and his sister Dale Zola.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to St. Patrick's Catholic Church, in David's honor, to build a formal cantor stand in his name.

“I had only recently moved to Lenox Mass and it was my first year at the high school. It was the custom at LHS that everyone was allowed to attend the junior prom, even though I was only a sophomore at the time. I still did not know many students, but David and I always got along quite well. He asked me to attend the prom with him. I will never forget how kind and gracious he was in inviting me to my first junior prom. Thank you, David. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.”
