He was predeceased by: his parents, George R. Grubb and Alice Grubb; his former wife Mary Alice Ehrlicher Grubb; his son Arthur Grubb; his sister Patricia Jenkins; and his brothers-in-law, Stuart Jenkins and Bill Tunis.
He is survived by: his wife Kitty Hulmes; his children, George E. Grubb (Devonna) and Sarah Bell (Jeff); his stepdaughters, Karen Cwaygel and Anita Johnson; and his grandchildren, George M., John, Lilly Grubb, Henry and Truman Bell.
A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the First Presbyterian Church (302 W Church St, Champaign, IL 61820).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that those wishing to honor George's memory consider making a donation to Make-A-Wish Foundation or First Presbyterian Church of Champaign.
