He is survived by: his wife Deloris; his children, Ann Lesshaffett, Cheryl Cleaver, Alan (Cheryl), Melanie Edbrook, Greg Byars (Rebecca) and Jeff Byars (Michelle); and his siblings, Tom (Rose), Bill (Ruthie), Kenny (Evonne), Linda Pickard (Danny) and Brenda Sivori. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pennsylvania Avenue Baptist Church or Carle Hospice.
