She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Merry and Bernice Merry (Embry); her husband Bob (Bob); her children, Beverly and Bernie; and her great grandchild Austin.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Pheris Jr., Becky Gadbury (Jim) of Champaign, Her and Bonnie Pruett (Greg) of Saint Joseph; and her grandchildren, Shawn Frost (Rich), Jennie Modica (Joe), Jessie Whetzel, Nikki Roberts (Troy), Kendra Keeler (Brad) and Stephanie Tatman. She is also survived by her great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Owens Funeral Home (101 N Elm St, Champaign, IL 61820).
Helen M. Pheris, 92, died at 7:18pm on October 3, 2025 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana.
