He was predeceased by : his parents, Marie Robertson Dyke and Donald O. Dyke; and his stepfather John Gregory. He is survived by : his children, Jesse Dyke of Champaign, Kyle Dyke of Bloomington and Kelsey Dyke of Ogden; and his siblings, Barbara Carroll (Dan) of Monticello, Marie Sebens (John) of Bement and Tom Gregory of Urbana.
