We announce the death of Karen Sue (Anderson) Clark of Champaign, Illinois, who passed away on September 24, 2026, at the age of 84. Karen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Rex and Lillian Annabelle Anderson (Janes); her husband John R. Clark; her son Troy Lee Clark; her grandchildren, Brianna and Jacob VonBehren; her sons-in-law, Jon VonBehren and Danny Nash; and her siblings, Larry Anderson and Lynn Blissard.
She is survived by: her children, John R. Clark Jr. (Donna) of Champaign, IL, Yvonne Nash of Cabot, AR and Teresa VonBehren of Champaign, IL; and her brothers, Phil Anderson (Debbie) of Arcola, IL, Bill Anderson (Rita) of Arcola, IL, Dennis Anderson (Dorothy) of Mattoon, IL. and Ken Anderson (Mary Ann) of Mattoon, IL.. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home (221 E Main St, Arcola, IL 61910). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 2nd 2026 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
