Katrina E. Rhoades Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Katrina E. Rhoades of Champaign, Illinois, who passed away on August 12, 2025, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Katrina's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Katrina has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She is survived by: her parents, Michael Smith and Jean Smith of Champaign; her husband Shane Aaron Rhoades; her son Michael Aaron Rhoades; her brother Zachary Smith (Margee); and her sibling's children, Charlie, Tom and Jack.
The family requests donations be made in memory of Katrina Rhoades to Carle Health Center for Philanthropy with notations to be utilized at CU Carle Neuroinstitute .
