He was predeceased by: his parents, Jordan Daniel McKillip and Charlene Ruth McKillip (Bellamy). He is survived by: his wife Carolinn Sue "Carrie" McKillip (Stewart); his children, Andrew Dennis McKillip and Dr. Kelsey Lynn McKillip; his daughter-in-law Lyndsey McKillip; his granddaughters, Quinn and Brighton McKillip; his son-in-law Bolaji Adebayo; his grandsons, Theo and Griffin Adebayo; and his brothers, Mark McKillip (Susan), Tony McKillip (Debbie) and Chris McKillip. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Distinguished Gentleman's Ride - a motorcycle ride to raise money and awareness for Men's Mental Health and Prostate Cancer that Kirk participated in - or Galesburg Discovery Depot - a children's museum where he loved taking his grandchildren.
