She is survived by her daughter, Joelle; her mother, Cristean (Joiner) Thompson of Champaign; sisters Makisa Thompson, Shilanthe Thompson, and Chiquita Thompson of Kentucky; sister Shirley of Texas; and brother Mingo Thompson of California; an aunt, Wardeine Joiner of Champaign; and an uncle, James Earl Joiner of Janesville, WI; nephews, Marquis, Joseph, Josiah, Jon, Jewelus, and Hosie; and nieces Jazman, Kastina, Kanisha and Tapanga.
