She was predeceased by: her brother-in-law John Hanes. She is survived by: her parents, H. Raymond Ege and Patricia Ege; her husband Doug; her children, Doran and Sonya; and her sisters, Sharon Lourdel (Robert), Christine Hanes and Kathy Ege.

Among her numerous achievements as president, she spearheaded a successful post-pandemic re-launch of the Chapter's signature Trivia Challenge fundraiser, with all proceeds supporting scholarships for women pursuing continuing or advanced education.
