She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Henry and Mary Helen McVey (Fickes); her husband Ralph Hardy Edwards; her siblings, Dean, William, Joe, Fairy Ellen, Leroy, Cecil "Buck", James and Priscilla; her daughter-in-law Elizabeth; her stepsons, Keith Edwards and Dennis Edwards; and her daughter-in-law Georgia.
She is survived by: her children, Rachel Eugenia Palmberg of Champaign, Illinois, Roberta Darlene Severin (Dan) of Kansas City, Missouri, Robert Dale Edwards (Edith) of Carrollton, Virginia and Cecil David Edwards of Murrieta, California; and her sister Patricia Turner (David) of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by her seventeen grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Meyer Funeral Home - Newton (307 W Jourdan St, Newton, IL 62448). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at the New St. Peter Cemetery.
