He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Scott and Kay Scott; his parents-in-law, Alfred and Ethel Cotterell; and his grandson Mario McNeill.
He is survived by: his children, Shannon Scott of Fort Wayne, IN and Celeste Michelle Nau (Greg) of Tuscola, IL; his grandchildren, LaNéce Dyer (Ben), Alexis Nau and Paul Nau; his great grandchild Gemma Dyer; and his sister Pat Korbus of Austin, TX..
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Mattis Avenue Free Methodist Church (1913 S Mattis Ave, Champaign, IL 61821). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Champaign County Forest Preserve District, PO Box 1040, Mahomet, IL 61853.
