It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Shobe of Champaign, Illinois, born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on March 26, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ervin E. Shobe and Rosine E. Shobe (Welch); his wife Janet Lorraine Fulk; his children, Lorraine Malcolm (Christopher) of Post Falls, ID and William Shobe (Tina) of Urbana; his sister Sally Crabill of Forsyth; his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Maple of Cerro Gordo and Kenneth Fulk of Virginia; and his siblings, Joanna Hurlburt and Jackie Shobe. He was also cherished by 13 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren.
