He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, James Delbert Wilson and Anna Ruth Wilson (Mckinzie); his wife Norma Jean Schafer; his stepchildren, Julie Wilson Horst (Robert) of San Jose, CA, Jay Wilson (Jeanne) of Springfield, IL and Chuck Wilson (Mary) of Champaign; his grandchildren, Lisa Horst Clark (Joshua) of Bellevue, WA, Kevin Horst of Los Angeles, CA, Erin Poppenhouse (Ty), Colin Wilson and McKinzie Wilson; and his great grandchildren, Eleanor Clark, Parker Poppenhouse, Presley Poppenhouse, Noelle Hunt, Ty Hunt and Alexis Hunt. He was also cherished by children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Carle Hospice, Holy Cross Church, or to the donor's choice.
