He was predeceased by: his father James Brown (Edna Brown); his grandmother Edna Elam; his sister Linda Brown; his aunt Mary Clark; his uncles, Robert Elam Jr. and Malcolm Elam; and his nephews, Reginald Miller and Christopher Crayton.
He is survived by: his mother Edna Maxine Brown; his children, Sharron Wilson and Amari Brown; his grandchildren, Kanasia, Kendall, Kamarius and Kamarion Wilson; his siblings, Chris Crayton, Jackie Brown, Phoebe Brown and Beverly Miller; his aunts and uncles, Edward Elam (Doris), James Elam (Cynthia), Annie Elam and Debra Ann Elam; his close friend Teresa; and also Nasir Swanson. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Luke C. M. E. Church (809 N 5th St, Champaign, IL 61820). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
