With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruby Joe Taylor (Champaign, Illinois), born in Marked Tree, Arkansas, who passed away on April 12, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In bidding Ruby adieu, let us not mourn the silence that now fills the spaces Ruby once occupied, but rather celebrate the vibrant colors she painted upon the canvas of our lives. For while she may have departed from this earthly realm, her spirit remains a beacon of light, guiding us through the darkest of nights.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Salem Baptist Church (500 E Park St, Champaign, IL 61820). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 26th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
