He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Somers and Elaine Somers (White); and his brothers, Terrance, Tobias, Jeffrey and Charles.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine of Champaign; his son Justin Somers of Champaign; his stepsons, Corey Olden of Pesotum and Jon Olden of Savoy; his siblings, Tom Somers of Monticello, David Somers of Texas, Kevin Somers of White Heath and Jennifer Somers of Champaign; his grandchildren, Devon and Maddie; and his great grandchild Braxton.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Owens Funeral Home (101 N Elm St, Champaign, IL 61820). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
