Shirley C. Barringer Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Shirley C. Barringer of Champaign, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 26, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Womick and Lucille Womick; and her husband D. Dean Barringer. She is survived by: her daughters, Tina Elizabeth Cox (Bryan) of Normal and Michelle Olden (John) of Savoy, Illinois.; her grandson Austin Blake Cox; her sister Judy Roth of Springfield, Illinois; her niece Laura Hessing (Brad); and her nephews, Eric Roth of Springfield, Rick Womick (Jan) and Mike Womick (Ruth Ann).
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Morgan Memorial (1304 Regency Dr W, Savoy, IL 61874). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Temple Baptist Church, 1100 Broadmoor Drive, Champaign, IL 61821.
