It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thelma Pealer of Champaign, Illinois, who passed away on September 6, 2022, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, William Yancie Smith and Tishan Smith (Edwards); her son Charles Duane Pealer; her siblings, Earl Edward Smith, Margaret Minor and Imogene Smith Wood; and her grandson Antonio Pealer.
She is survived by : her granddaughter Tina Pealer; and her adoptive sons, William Capel and Ernie Martin. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in her memory and honor be made to St. Luke CME Church in Champaign, IL.
