He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Frank H. Beach and Blanche Stipp Beach; his spouse Shirlie McIlvain; his children, Marybeth Eads (Jim), Andy Beach (Elizabeth), Becky Beach (Amy Curry) and Barb Hiser; and his grandchildren, Amanda McFarlane (Martin), Andrew Eads (Christine), Meghann (Jeremy Wemer), Matt Hiser (Janet), Caroline Beach and Thomas Beach (Sara).

In lieu of flowers, memorials for Ted may be sent to First United Methodist Church in Champaign, the Lou & Mary Henson Scholarship Fund or a charity of the donor's choice.
