He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Stanley'Charlie'Layman Layman and Victoria Fornek Layman; his wife Peggy Holmes; his children, Benjamin (HeatherAnn) of Champaign and Angela of Champaign; his grandchildren, Clark and Alice; his siblings, Marty Layman (Jule Dee Scarborough) of Manteo, NC, Rita Gimbel (Marc) of Downer's Grove and Suzanne Kronenberg (Don) of Oak Forest; his niece Zoe Kronenberg of Chicago; and his cousin Pete Sober of DeKalb.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the Champaign County Forest Preserve District due to Tom's love of hiking and nature.
